Marty E. Moore

Partner

Marty loves practicing law and finding creative, cost-effective solutions to his clients' legal problems. Marty believes that filing a lawsuit is not always the best way to solve a legal dispute. Sometimes, negotiation and alternative dispute resolution can produce quicker, cheaper, and more effective solutions to disputes without the stress and uncertainty of prolonged litigation. However, Marty has been a lawyer for more than 30 years and has practiced law in three states; he understands that there are legal disputes that must be tried in court if his client is to receive justice. Marty has been lead counsel in more than 50 jury trials in state and federal courts, and he has tried more than 100 cases before judges. He is comfortable in the courtroom, and he believes in the power of juries to level the playing field between average citizens and big corporations, particularly insurance companies.

Marty is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubble—the leading attorney rating agency in the United States. A member of the Utah Courts Mediation Roster, Marty routinely conducts mediation sessions for parties involved in difficult legal disputes, including family law cases. Marty firmly believes that mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution can help many parties—particularly family members, business associates, and neighbors—resolve disputes significantly quicker and cheaper than fighting in court.

For more than a decade, Marty has helped hard-working immigrants obtain lawful permanent residence in the United States. He also represents employers who employ foreign-born workers with degrees from both American and foreign universities.
