Peck Hadfield welcomes new associate, John D. Luthy
Peck Hadfield is pleased to welcome to the firm John D. Luthy as an associate attorney. John graduated Cum Laude from the Reuben J. Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University in 2000. After joining the Utah State Bar that year, John served as a law clerk for Judges Greg K. Orme and Russell W. Bench on the Utah Court of Appeals and for Justice Richard C. Howe of the Utah Supreme Court. He then practiced law with an insurance defense firm in Salt Lake City for three years before taking a position as an Instructor of Legal Writing with the University of South Carolina School of Law. John’s practice focuses on appellate matters in state and federal courts, complex litigation, representation of injured persons, insurance bad faith and real property disputes. John and his wife Valerie live with their two children in Smithfield.
